Covid-19 Response

We were able to respond quickly to the benefit of our existing customers while also on-boarding many new customers needing specialist support to adapt and continue trading, and more recently those hospitality businesses seeking to reopen.

Free online ordering

We immediately provided free online ordering to all existing customers until 31/12/2020. We have since extended this offer to all new businesses.

Helping staff to work from home

Our VoIP solutions already allow customers to make, receive and transfer calls through a mobile app. We have migrated many more customers to this platform and for many takeaway businesses we have increased call capacity allowing them to take multiple orders simultaneously, while queuing more – no more busy tones for customers who then order elsewhere.

We also supply Microsoft 365 licensing to many of our customers. If you have an active support contract then you are eligible for discounted pricing and rolling 30 day commitment. Work collaboratively with Microsoft Teams, use SharePoint to access and edit shared documents. Exchange mailboxes have a 50GB limit and support legal hold, archiving, answer as / on behalf of.

Remote support

We can support your phone systems, point of sale equipment, network and full IT infrastructure remotely. We manage encrypted cloud backups of all systems and in the event of hardware failure we can immediately provision new or loan hardware.

Flexible billing

With almost all of our support and software offerings being rolling monthly, with no minimum term, all businesses which were forced to close or to use fewer systems were able to pause some or all services. Over 100 sites paused all services while many others removed just surplus tills, reduced the number of other phones or software packages.

Preparation for social distancing

With the ability to order from the table or guests room, online, we minimise contact with staff – customers do not need to approach the counter or a staff member to place an order and payment is taken online.

Many sites are taking car registration numbers with online orders, so they can make a contact free delivery to the vehicle at selected collection time.

For those with paused services, we ensure the ability to resume all services with a single business day’s notice. In many cases we can launch services in minutes, day or night, but where some of our suppliers are currently unable to support this we have ensured that a next day option remains in place.

Repairs

We have over 40 loan terminals available in stock, some specifically configured for retail use with integrated scanners and scales, others for hospitality. Many are suitable for flexible use in both environment. All hardware is serviced and ready to deploy immediately, and if you have a support package we can configure your loan hardware and have it ready to deliver to site in under 4 hours.

No repairs are currently being carried out on site, but customers with support contracts enjoy free use of loan hardware, so can often benefit from a free upgrade for the duration of any repair in the workshop.

Sundries

While we ensure the safety of our staff only boxed orders are currently being directly dispatched, all palletised orders are shipping direct from manufacturers. While we endeavour to maintain a next day service, some orders will be on a 48 hour service.

We are currently offering no same day delivery option and cannot accommodate any customer collections from our offices.

Development
